Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly:
- Newsletter: your email and, optionally, your name.
- Comments: your name, email and the content of your comment.
- User account: when you create an account we collect your email, username, display name, date of birth and country. You can optionally add to your profile: a bio, city, profession, social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), physical details (height, eye and hair color), your acting experience and training, skills, a link to your reel (YouTube or Vimeo) and your acting resume as a PDF.
- Browsing: usage data through Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Google Tag Manager, and technical browser data to show ads and measure campaigns (see sections 4 and 5).
We ask for your date of birth to calculate your age, which matters on a platform for actors and casting calls, and to send you a birthday greeting. We ask for your country to show you opportunities and content relevant to your region.
2. How we use your information
We never sell or hand over your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.
- Newsletter: sending editorial content and the casting call alerts you turned on.
- Comments: publishing your name and comment publicly.
- Profile: if you are an adult and confirmed your email, your display name, profession, city, country, age, physical details, experience, training, skills, reel and resume may be shown on your public profile so directors, agencies and production companies can get to know you. Your resume opens from the link on your profile and is marked so it does not appear in search engines. Your email, your exact date of birth and your password are never shown.
- Analytics: statistical analysis of the site's traffic and of how its pages are used, to improve them.
3. Minors
The platform allows actors and actresses under 18 to take part. If you are a minor, to create an account you need to provide the email of your parent or guardian and have their express consent, which is requested during sign-up. Parental consent authorizes the creation of the account and the processing of data described in this policy.
Profiles of minors are not public: only the directors, agencies and production companies approved by our team can see them. The parent or guardian can request access to, correction of or deletion of the minor's account and data at any time through our contact channels.
4. Cookies
We use our own cookies to keep you logged in and, if you choose "Keep me logged in", to remember you for 30 days. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google AdSense and the Meta pixel also use cookies (see section 5); if you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, they only turn on once you accept them in Google's message. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; without them, some features, such as logging in, stop working.
5. Advertising and measurement
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: we use them to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Google Analytics measures visits and actions, such as which pages are viewed or how many people sign up. Microsoft Clarity records clicks, scrolling and movements on the page to build heatmaps and replays of visits; what you type in forms and your account details are masked in your browser and never reach Microsoft. If you are logged in, we send them a pseudonymized identifier for your account, never your email or your name. Google processes this data under its privacy policy and Microsoft, under its privacy statement. If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, they only turn on if you accept them in Google's message.
- Google AdSense: the site shows Google ads. Google and other providers use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings and, for other providers, at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent with Google's message before using advertising cookies, and you can change your choice from the privacy settings link shown on the site.
- Meta pixel: we use it to measure the campaigns we run on Facebook and Instagram. Meta receives data about your visit, such as the pages you view and the actions you take, partly through Meta's Conversions API Gateway, and may associate it with your account under its own data policy. You can manage the ads you see in Meta's ad preferences.
- Cloudflare: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies or personal data, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical browser data to check that sign-ups and logins are made by a person and not a bot.
6. Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email. From your account you can edit or delete your profile data and close your account completely: when you do, we delete your profile, your files (photo, headshots and resume), your saved items and applications, and your comments become anonymous. To exercise your rights of access, correction or deletion, contact us through our official channels.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Passwords are stored with an irreversible hash; the most sensitive contact details, such as a minor's guardian email and the phone numbers of directors and agencies, are stored encrypted; all communication travels encrypted over HTTPS, and we limit login attempts to stop attacks. Even so, no transmission system over the internet is 100% secure.
