What they are looking for
Coffman Productions in Denver, Colorado, is casting Maneaters, an independent limited series. The story follows Liz, who runs into a man from her past and sets out for revenge; along the way she finds an ancient deity and a 500-year-old vampire sent to help her. They are currently casting the two leads. The listing is short: full role breakdowns are in the original post, and submissions go by email. The company notes that it is not currently using on-set safety standards. It is unpaid: all roles are volunteer. The listing does not give a closing date. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Say which lead you are submitting for: the original post names Safiyya, of African descent, and Liz, described as racially ambiguous. They ask only for a resume and headshot, so send nothing more. The post lists all roles as unpaid and places the first work, promotional photos and test footage, in spring or summer 2027. With no safety standards in place and a revenge story involving a vampire, ask how they will handle stunts, fight scenes and image rights.
