What they are looking for
A production team based in Palermo, Buenos Aires, is looking for an actor ages 40 to 45 for branded content for a beer brand, with a family comedy tone. On camera experience is required, along with availability to shoot on Sunday, November 8 or Saturday, November 14. It is a small part in a cast that includes other roles of different ages. It is unpaid, though the production covers travel costs. The call is listed as open until November 11, but the shoot may come first, so it is worth writing early. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
In a family comedy for a brand, you will most likely play the dad or the uncle of the group, so a smiling headshot in everyday clothes helps them picture you in the part. If your reel has comedy scenes, point to the exact timestamp. Since the shoot falls before the closing date, confirm which of the two days you would work and ask where the piece will run, because your face will be tied to the brand.
