What they are looking for
The Stephen Foster Drama Association is staging Disney's Frozen for its 2027 summer season at the J. Dan Talbott Amphitheatre in Bardstown, Kentucky, directed by Bronson Norris Murphy. Right now they are only casting Anna and Elsa: women in their 20s, any ethnicity, with a strong musical theater belt for two physically and vocally demanding roles. First-round auditions are by video using the sides linked in the listing, and callbacks may be in Kentucky or by video. Rehearsals begin on or about May 27, 2027. It is paid: $300 to $450 per week, non-union, with furnished housing for out-of-town actors. The listing does not give a closing date. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Download the sides and music from the folder linked for your role and record a self-tape with one clean take of each piece. Anna calls for warmth and humor, Elsa for restraint and a sustained belt, so pick the one that fits you best instead of sending two half-ready tapes. The contract runs from May to August 2027 in Kentucky, so make sure you can relocate for the whole season.
