Piqued Products is casting the role of Shane in a partially sung through reading of a new musical, set for mid December in Manhattan or Brooklyn. The character is a Black or racially ambiguous man in his late 30s or 40s, ideally a high tenor with a strong falsetto who can also deliver spoken word in a deeper register. Quick studies and strong sight readers have an edge. It is non-union and it is paid: $100 to $125 for the gig, which is dated December 14.
