How to spot a fake casting callWhat they are looking for
An agency urgently needs kids for a major commercial for a dog products brand that will be shot in Bogotá. They are looking for boys and girls ages 8 to 10 who live in the city or can be there for the shoot. It is paid, though the listing does not give the amount or the shoot dates. Contact is through WhatsApp and the casting call closes November 16. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
If your child is comfortable around dogs, send a photo or a short clip of them playing with one, since that is exactly what a spot like this may call for. Add a front-facing photo and a full-body shot in natural light, with no filters. The listing says it is urgent, so message them on WhatsApp right away and ask for the brand name, the shoot date, the pay and how long your child's image will be used.
