What they are looking for
Nueva Mirada is looking for a female host and cohost for Dar la Vuelta, its late night style show, based in the Monserrat neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The search is for women to front the show. The late night format usually mixes a monologue, interviews and comedy. The listing gives no age range and does not explicitly ask for prior experience. It is paid: 80,000 Argentine pesos for the two shoot days, plus travel expenses. To apply, write to the email address in the listing, which stays open until November 10. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
A late night show calls for ease on camera and comic timing, so record a one minute video introducing yourself as if you were opening the show, with a short joke or a take on current events. If you have hosted anything before, include the link. Before you commit, ask for the two shoot dates, whether it airs on streaming or TV and whether they write the script or you improvise.
