What they are looking for
Casting one actor and one actress ages 19 to 28 for La otra, a suspense short film produced at IDAC, the Avellaneda film and drama school in Buenos Aires, with looks similar to Argentine actors Chino Darín and Sofía Gala. There is an online first round followed by an in person audition, and filming is planned for November or December. The roles are paid and include travel expenses, catering and footage for your reel. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Since the first round is online, make sure your Instagram is public and that your latest posts show recent, well-lit photos of your face. Choose a photo where the resemblance to Chino Darín or Sofía Gala comes through, without copying their style. If you make the first cut, prepare a suspense scene with restrained tension for the in-person audition. Write by November 4 and ask about the pay and which weeks of November or December they plan to shoot.
