What they are looking for
The studio Fuifa Estudi Creatiu is looking for an actor or actress ages 35 to 55 for an internal communications video for an insurance company. The role calls for a professional, approachable and natural look, acting experience and ease speaking directly to camera. There will be office scenes and a closing line to camera. The shoot takes place in Ontinyent, in the province of Valencia, Spain, lasts four to five hours and does not have a confirmed date yet. Living in Ontinyent, Alcoi, Xàtiva or nearby is a plus. It is paid, with the rate to be agreed. Send a recent photo, a demo reel or self-introduction video, your town, your availability and an estimated rate. The listing does not give a closing date. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
The key moment is the closing line to camera, so record a 30 second introduction speaking straight to the lens, warm and confident, as if you were explaining something to a team. Dress as you would for an office. When you quote a rate, base it on a four to five hour day and note that the video is for internal use only. If you live nearby, say so in the first line of your message.
