What they are looking for
Film students from UNA, the National University of the Arts in Argentina, are casting an actress who can play 55 to 60 in a comedy short film. Shooting takes place on Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10 in Buenos Aires, so you need both days free. It is unpaid; they provide catering and share the footage for your reel. Send photos and, if you have one, an acting reel by email. Submissions close on November 5. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
For a comedy short, pick the reel scene that best shows your comic timing and point them to the exact minute; if all your material is dramatic, record a funny clip under a minute on your phone. Add one smiling headshot and one serious one. The shoot is on Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10, both workdays, so make sure you can take them off. Also ask whether they cover travel, since the listing only mentions catering and footage.
