What they are looking for
Students in the Blanco course at FADU, the design and architecture school of the University of Buenos Aires, are shooting a short film set in the visual arts world and need performers for a small part. They play snobs at a cocktail party, in extravagant costumes. They want actresses ages 25 to 60 and actors ages 25 to 75. The shoot is on November 1, runs about 8 hours and 45 minutes, and takes place in a building facing Plaza Constitución in Buenos Aires. It is unpaid. To sign up, fill out a form. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Fill out the form today, since the shoot is this Sunday and it is a long day. If you own flashy clothes, send a photo in that look: it helps them picture you as a cocktail party snob, and it is worth asking whether they provide the costumes. In a part like this, attitude tends to count more than lines, so practice a look of fake awe in front of an artwork. Confirm your call time and how to get there.
