What they are looking for
A university short film shooting in Mexico City is looking for two actresses, with or without experience, to play a mother and her daughter. The mother is 35 to 50 and the daughter 16 to 20. Both have fair skin, dark or brown hair and black or brown eyes; for the mother they want medium to long hair. The shoot is on November 15 in the city center. It is unpaid; the listing offers a gift as thanks. They ask you to send your information through the platform. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. It closes on November 5. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Since they are casting a mother and daughter, resemblance will matter: if you know someone who fits the other role and looks like you, you can both apply and say so in your message. Send a front-facing photo in natural light with your hair down, since hair and coloring are most of the breakdown. If the daughter is under 18, ask what permission they need. Also confirm you are free on November 15.
