What they are looking for
The crew of the student short film Mamboretá is looking for background extras for a scene in La Plata. Extras will play residents, tenants, and workers in an apartment building, and age, gender, style, and clothing do not matter. The shoot is on Friday, November 6, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Gleyzer Auditorium, on the Fonseca campus of the audiovisual arts school in La Plata. The listing does not mention pay. To sign up, write to the email address in the post. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
For background work what matters is being on time and staying the full four hours, so confirm in your email that you can arrive at 6 p.m. and stay until 10. Bring everyday clothes and a change in case they ask, since you will play a resident or building worker. If you plan to bring someone, say so in the same message, because crews often welcome pairs or groups.
