What they are looking for
TCHUB is staging Whatttt Gurlllll!, a one act comedy drama about four women navigating love, friendship, and adulthood, with performances planned for late March through April 2027 in the New York City area. Roles include Nicole, a Black female lead ages 30 to 40, a sarcastic and very funny mom, and four Black or Latino love interests: Marcus, 35 to 45; Jay, 32 to 45; Keith, 35 to 48; and Anthony, 38 to 50. They want sharp comic timing, stage presence, and romantic chemistry. It is non-union. It is unpaid. Email a headshot, resume, and the role you want, with the show and character name in the subject line, by November 11. Auditions are by self tape. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Request the sides for your role, since they send them on request, and tape with a reader who gives you real energy back, because the chemistry has to show. For Nicole, go for the dry punchline over the big joke. Put the exact show and character name in the subject line, as asked. It is unpaid, so ask for the rehearsal schedule before you commit.
