Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is holding Equity Principal Auditions for its 2027 season, which runs in rotating repertory, so most actors appear in at least two productions. The festival actively seeks diversity of every kind and encourages BIPOC actors and actors of all abilities and genders. It is paid under an LOA contract with a $927 weekly minimum at the 2026 rate. Auditions are November 9 and 10 at Hudson Valley Shakespeare Studios in Garrison, scheduled through a Google form on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepare a speech from Midsummer and Macbeth and/or from one of Aaron Posner's Chekhov adaptations; for Sunday in the Park with George, bring a short selection and sheet music.
