How to spot a fake casting callWhat they are looking for
A telecommunications company is shooting a commercial in Mexico City and needs extras, men and women ages 18 to 30. The guys should fit a football player, wrestler, Bridgerton or One Piece look, while the women should fit a Bridgerton, Melina or Emily in Paris look. The call is Friday, November 13 at noon, and applications close November 8. It is paid: 7,000 Mexican pesos plus sales tax, and an invoice is required. They ask for book photos, a video reel of past projects and a casting clip acting the character, plus recent images on your profile. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Pick one of the looks in the listing and build your clip around it, since a clear character reads better than a mix. For Bridgerton, an upright posture and restrained expressions help; for a wrestler or football player, bring more physical energy. Refresh your profile photos before applying, because the listing requires it. It is worth confirming what the fee covers and whether you need to issue the invoice yourself, which is a real step to sort out.
