How to spot a fake casting callWhat they are looking for
An agency is looking for a pregnant woman ages 18 to 50, close to her due date, for a video project in Bogotá. The work would take place during the first or second week of November, and the listing closes November 9. It is paid, although the listing gives no amount and does not explain what the project is about. Contact is through WhatsApp, and no other material is requested. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Before you send photos or details over WhatsApp, ask for the agency's name, what the project is about, how your image will be used and how much it pays. Given how far along you are, it also helps to ask how many hours the job lasts, where it takes place and whether you can bring someone you trust. The date is open across two weeks, so confirm it and mention your due date.
