What they are looking for
Transport Group is premiering Beautiful Jolie Gabor, Her Glamorous Three Daughters, and Always the Happiness is Life, the new musical by Michael John LaChiusa starring Mary Testa as Jolie Gabor. They are casting Magda, the oldest daughter, ages 25 to 50: a dramatic soprano up to a high A, with natural comedic chops, physical grace, and a Hungarian accent onstage. The call is for Equity actresses on an Off Broadway contract. The Equity Principal Audition is November 9, 2026 at Pearl Studios; bring a short song that shows off your sound. Rehearsals start in May 2027 and the run is June to July. It is paid: a $948 weekly minimum. Apply through the original listing.
