What they are looking for
Media and entertainment management students at UADE, a private university in Buenos Aires, are producing Decilo de frente, a conflict talk show for a class project in which two people act out different versions of the same situation. They are looking for men and women ages 20 to 25 who feel natural on camera, show emotion easily, improvise well and can hold a tense debate; acting experience is a plus. Taping is November 17, from about 7:45 to 9:45 AM, at Lima 757 in the Monserrat neighborhood. It is unpaid, but you get footage for personal use and catering that day. Send a photo, portfolio and intro material by email. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
For this format, a short clip of you improvising a conflict without a script helps, because that is exactly what they will be watching for. The listing title says ages 20 to 30 while the profile says 20 to 25, so ask first if you fall in between. Practice listening and reacting to awkward questions while staying in character. Make sure you can get to Monserrat early that morning, and ask when they will deliver the footage.
