What they are looking for
«Pequeños delincuentes» (Little Delinquents) is an original scripted series in development in La Plata, Argentina, and it is looking for actors and actresses from the city and nearby areas. The story takes place inside an institution with its own rules and centers on complex characters, intense relationships and strong conflicts. The listing is aimed at performers who want to build characters in depth and does not give specific ages or roles. It is paid, according to the listing, but the project is still in development and does not have confirmed funding yet, so terms will be discussed before any commitment. The call closes on November 30. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
A story set inside an institution with its own world calls for intense characters, so if you have dramatic scenes with conflict between two people, that is the clip to send. Mention in your email which part of La Plata you live in, since they want local actors. With funding still pending, it is worth asking what stage the script is at, whether a pilot or teaser is planned and how much of your time they expect before money comes in.
