What they are looking for
Bullish Productions is looking for English-speaking actors based in Barcelona for an independent feature film. It is a dark comedy directed by a California-based filmmaker and shooting in Barcelona this November. There are two roles: an actress ages 25 to 35 and an actor ages 25 to 50. Strong acting skills and on-camera presence matter most, and comedy experience is optional. The listing does not mention pay. To apply, email your acting reel to the production. The listing does not give a closing date. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Since the shoot is this month, reach out as soon as possible and tell the production which November days you have free. Write your email in English, and lead your reel with a scene you performed in English if you have one. For a dark comedy, a dry delivery works well, with humor that comes from playing it straight. It is also worth asking whether the job is paid and how many shoot days it involves.
