What they are looking for
The team behind «El Destino de la Juventud» is looking for Latino men ages 18 to 50 for a war short film shooting in Lleida, Spain. They are also looking for extras of Asian descent. Filming runs from November 24 to December 3. It is unpaid, but they cover transportation, meals and lodging. Because of the timeline, casting is by self-tape: you need to request the sides from the contact email, record them and send them back. For the extras, sending a photo to the same email is enough. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Request the sides as soon as you can, since a self-tape takes time and the shoot starts on November 24. A war short calls for a restrained, physical performance: record in even light, in a medium shot, with no background music. Since filming lasts almost ten days with lodging, make sure you can be away that whole time and ask how many shoot days would be yours.
