What they are looking for
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, part of the University of Colorado Boulder, is holding Equity Principal Auditions for its 2027 season. In person auditions run November 7 and 8 from 9 AM to 5 PM at the University Theatre Building on campus, and actors who cannot attend may send a video audition instead. Prepare two contrasting classical monologues, one comedic and one dramatic, totaling no more than two minutes. All roles will be understudied. It is paid: the LOA contract pays a weekly minimum of $862 at the outdoor Mary Rippon Theatre and $837 at the indoor Roe Green Theatre, at 2026 rates.
