What they are looking for

City Springs Theatre Company is staging Grease in Sandy Springs, Georgia, directed and choreographed by Parker Esse, and is holding an Equity Principal Audition on November 9 at its Dunwoody Place studios. They are casting Danny, Sandy, the Pink Ladies (Rizzo, Frenchy, Marty and Jan), the Burger Palace Boys (Kenickie, Doody, Roger and Sonny) and other roles such as Patty and Cha-Cha. Every role requires a strong mover. It is paid: an LOA contract with a $677 weekly minimum. Rehearsals start April 5, 2027, the show opens April 30 and closes May 16. Prepare a short song cut in the style of the show and book a slot online. Apply through the original listing.

Castina's tip

Pick a late fifties rock and roll or doo-wop cut that shows off your range: tenor for Danny or Kenickie, soprano for Sandy, mix and belt for Rizzo, Marty or Jan. Every role calls for a strong mover, so dress for a possible dance combination. Slots are booked online, so grab one early and confirm you can be in Georgia from April through mid May 2027.
