What they are looking for

New York City Center is holding Equity Principal Auditions for its Encores! 2027 season, the series that revives classic musicals in staged concert productions. It is paid under a Special Agreement with a $2,189 weekly minimum. Auditions are November 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Pearl Studios on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, with a break from 1:30 to 2:30. Prepare a short song of your choice, traditional or contemporary musical theater, and bring sheet music for the accompanist plus a stapled headshot and resume. Bring a photo ID to enter the building on November 5. Casting directors Rachel Hoffman and Charlie Hano are expected to attend. Apply through the original listing.
