What they are looking for
Extraordinary, LLC is casting a male vocalist for a Vegas style showgirl event in Gaithersburg, Maryland. They want a high energy lounge singer who can sing, dance and move confidently around the stage, and they are also open to a Broadway style belter with big stage presence. There is a rehearsal on November 12, a dress rehearsal on November 16 and the event is on November 17, 2026. It is non-union and it is paid: $1,200 to $1,500 for the gig. Send a headshot, a resume and several videos of you singing and moving, including Broadway songs, Vegas style numbers and upbeat Sinatra tunes. Submissions go by email. The listing does not give a closing date. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
The videos carry the most weight: record at least three short takes, one Broadway, one Vegas style and one upbeat Sinatra, and keep moving around the space in all of them rather than standing still in front of the camera. A jacket or a touch of lounge wardrobe helps them picture you in the role. Before you send, make sure all three dates are free and that you can get to Gaithersburg on your own.
