Quick answer: modeling agencies in Barcelona accept first applications online, through a form or by email, with phone digitals, your measurements and your age. Sight and Trend are based only in Barcelona, eight more also have Madrid offices, and Little Monkeys represents kids up to age 20. EU citizens generally need no work permit; everyone else should check Spain’s rules before moving.
Barcelona works in two languages. Under article 6 of the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia, Catalan is the official language of Catalonia. So is Spanish, the official language of the Spanish state. Still, most agency sites on this list have an English version, so you can handle the first steps in English.
We checked these modeling agencies in Barcelona on their official sites in November 2026, and each link goes to the page where the information appears. Casting and Acting is not an agency and doesn’t represent anyone, and we left out commissions and rates because they change. If you’re new, read how to become a model first. To compare cities, see our guides for Madrid, Mexico and Argentina.
Before You Apply to Barcelona Modeling Agencies
Start with your right to work. As an EU national, you generally don’t need a work permit anywhere in the EU, according to the EU’s Your Europe portal. Spain is no exception.
Citizens of other countries face a different process. Spain’s Ministry of Inclusion describes one route in its information sheet 12, in Spanish. It’s a residence and work authorization that an employer requests to hire a foreign worker over 16 for more than 90 days. Citizens of the EU, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are outside that system. So ask any agency that wants to sign you how it handles permits, ideally before you move.
Next, the sites themselves. Elite and Trend publish in English, and View, Sight, Uno, Blow, Francina, Salvador and Mad Models also offer English pages. Little Monkeys publishes in Spanish, Catalan and English. Traffic’s application page, on the other hand, is in Spanish.
Finally, think in centimeters. Trend and View want women to be at least 175 cm, about 5 feet 9 inches, and men 185 cm, about 6 feet 1 inch. Sight, Traffic and Blare, Salvador Agency’s fashion label, ask for 173 cm, about 5 feet 8, and 185 cm.
What Barcelona Modeling Agencies Look For
The photo set is close to universal: a close-up, a waist-up or medium shot, a profile and a full-length shot. Sight also wants the full-length shot in a swimsuit against a white background. Trend asks for digitals with no makeup in natural light, and it promises that only its own team sees the photos.
A phone camera is fine. Use daylight, a plain wall and simple, fitted clothes, and keep your face bare. Our guide on how to take headshots at home helps with light and framing. Then add your real age, height and measurements, plus your city and phone number.
Some boards want more than stills. For example, Sight asks for a walking video of about 30 seconds and a personality video. It also sets age ranges: 15 to 20 for women and 17 to 25 for men. Walking in without an appointment won’t work, though. View, Mad Models and Blare all say they don’t hold open calls or see anyone without one.
Modeling Agencies Based Only in Barcelona
Neither of these two shows a Madrid office. Both are fashion agencies with height minimums and a section for new faces.
Sight Management Studio
Sight sits at Passeig de Gràcia 37, in the Eixample. Its women’s side has mainboard, direct and development, the men’s side has men and development, and there’s a talent division.
The application is one of the most detailed we saw. It takes four photos (full length, waist up, close-up and profile) plus the two videos. For the walking video, Sight asks for a clean face, hair down and a simple outfit, like jeans and a plain top. It also states that you don’t need professional photos or a portfolio. Apply on the Sight Want to Be a Model page.
Trend Model Management
Trend’s office is on Carrer de Pau Claris, also in the Eixample. It represents women, men and non-binary models, and it runs Future, a newer department built to discover and develop new faces.
Its Join Us form asks for a profile, a waist-up and a full-length photo, plus your details and measurements. Then its casting department reaches out if you fit the agency’s profile. Find it on the Trend Join Us page.
Modeling Agencies With Offices in Barcelona and Madrid
Each of these eight shows an office in both cities on its site. Salvador even lets you pick the office on its form.
Elite Barcelona
Elite Model Management is on Carrer de Provença, near Passeig de Gràcia, with main board, direct, development and creatives boards. Its Get Scouted form takes up to three photos with no makeup. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian has to approve the application and come to any meeting. Elite also says its scouts never ask for payment or for nude or lingerie photos. Apply through the Elite Barcelona form.
View Management
View is at Passeig de Gràcia 60, with women’s boards (Image, main board, development and new faces), men’s boards and talent. You email four photos and your stats from age 16, with minors talking to their parents first. If two weeks pass with no reply, View says to consider the application declined. Read View’s Become a Model page.
Uno Models
Uno’s Barcelona office, on Avinguda del Marquès de l’Argentera, houses its social booking team, its UnoJunior booker and its scouting department. Beyond women and men, it has Teen, UnoJunior and social media talent. You email four photos with your details, and Uno answers within three business days if it’s interested. See the sample photos on the Uno Become page.
Traffic Models
Traffic’s Barcelona office, on Passatge Sert, runs its women’s and men’s divisions. The agency also has new faces and a social section with influencers and celebrities. Its form takes up to four images, including at least one face shot and one full-length shot in a swimsuit or shorts. Find it on the Traffic application page, in Spanish.
Blow Models
Blow is on Carrer dels Almogàvers in Poblenou and describes itself as an international agency with offices in Barcelona and Madrid. It has women, men and talent, with development sections. The form is the only way in, with four phone photos in natural light and no makeup. Apply on the Blow application page.
Francina Management
Francina has worked since 1983, and its Barcelona office is on Plaça de Gal·la Placídia. In 2026, Francina Models became Francina Management. It represents fashion models (Image) and commercial models, plus actors and celebrities, and runs an events and shoots unit called 360. The Get Scouted button and scouting email are on the Francina contact page.
Salvador Agency and Blare
Salvador Agency dates to 1975, and its Barcelona office is on Avinguda de la Riera de Cassoles, in Gràcia. It groups Salvador Models (advertising and fashion), Blare Model Management (fashion and editorial), an actors department and Salvador Kids. Pick the Barcelona office on the Salvador Models form and upload three photos.
Mad Models
Mad Models has worked since 2010 from offices in Barcelona and Madrid, and its site lists a phone number and contacts for each, with no street address. It runs curve, inbetween and plus-size boards, plus a commercial division that includes athletes. You send four photos and your measurements, and you confirm you’re at least 14. Apply on the Mad Models Become a Model page.
Modeling for Kids in Barcelona
With children, stick to agencies that show a kids division on their site, and keep a parent involved at every step. Among the modeling agencies in Barcelona, Little Monkeys works only with kids and young people.
Little Monkeys
Little Monkeys started in Barcelona in 2012 and has its office on Carrer de Modolell. It represents boys and girls up to age 20 from mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. Its roster also has room for newborns, real families and children with disabilities. Registration is free, the site says.
The Little Monkeys registration application asks for current photos and videos, with one form per sibling. Home photos work if you use shade, a plain wall and basic clothes, with no makeup or accessories. The video is horizontal, about 30 seconds long, and shows the child’s name, age, hands, profiles and a full turn.
Other options on this list are Salvador Kids, with a Barcelona office, and UnoJunior. For teens, Sight takes women from 15 and View takes applicants from 16. Under Spanish law, a child under 16 needs written permission from the labor authority for each public show (article 6 of the Workers’ Statute). Our guide to auditions for kids and teens covers the rest.
How Barcelona Modeling Jobs Get Paid
Signing is only the start. The Little Monkeys manual walks through what comes next, and it’s a useful picture of agency work. First, the agency submits your profile online, so you don’t have to go anywhere. If you get through, you’re called to an in-person casting or asked for a self-tape, and finalists are then put on option.
Pay comes in two parts, according to the manual: a day rate for each workday and image rights. The rights depend on the media, the time period and the territory where the images run. Amounts are quoted gross, and the agency’s commission and Spanish income tax come out of them.
For minors, every job needs its own work permit, which each regional government regulates. The agency sends the child’s paperwork, and a school certificate is also needed. Only one adult goes to the casting with each child, ideally a parent or guardian. If something in a contract is unclear, ask your booker, who works much like a talent agent. If you also act, see how to get a talent agent and our list of acting agencies near me.
Red Flags to Watch For
A legitimate agency earns money when you work, not when you sign up. So be wary if anyone charges you to register or to join a book, or makes a class or a shoot with their own photographer a condition. The same goes for contacts that happen only in direct messages, never through the official site or email.
Photo requests are another tell. Elite and View say they never ask for nude or lingerie photos. Uno and View also warn about impostors on social media and say their emails always come from their own domain. If anyone asks a minor for underwear photos, cut contact and report it. For more, read how to spot a fake casting call.
While you wait to hear back, look for work on your own. Browse castings in Barcelona, commercial casting calls and castings across Spain, and read how to get auditions in Spain.

Frequently asked questions
Do modeling agencies in Barcelona charge to sign you?
Legitimate ones don’t. Elite and View say so on their sites, and Little Monkeys states that registration is free. Agencies earn a commission on your jobs instead.
Do I need to speak Catalan?
Catalan and Spanish are both official in Catalonia, but the agency sites on this list work in English or Spanish, and Little Monkeys also in Catalan. Ask your agency which language its castings use.
Can I be with more than one agency?
It depends on the agency. Little Monkeys, for example, promotes exclusive contracts and explains that being with several agencies causes conflicts with production companies. Ask before you sign.
Do I need a portfolio?
Home photos are enough for a first application. Sight says outright that you don’t need professional photos or a portfolio, and Blare says the same in Spanish.
Can I apply from another country?
Yes. Blow and Elite ask for your country, and Salvador Models asks for your country of residence and nationalities. Say where you live and whether you can already work in Spain.
