What they are looking for
Terraza Producciones, a student production team from the Image and Sound Design program at FADU, the University of Buenos Aires school of architecture and design, is casting an actor for a student short film. They want a young man over 18 who looks 16 to 18. Experience is optional; what matters is wanting to be on a film set. One scene shows him playing tennis in close shots, and another takes place at a party where he interacts with another young man and shares a kiss, which can be discussed and adjusted to the actor's comfort. Shooting takes a single day, on a Saturday. It is unpaid, but they cover travel costs if you live far away and meals on set. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Send a front-facing photo and a full-body shot in simple, teen-style clothes with natural light, so they can see you pass for 16 to 18. If the kiss scene makes you hesitate, say so in your first email, since the team already said it can be talked through and adjusted. The listing mentions Saturday, May 31, but it closes on October 30, so it makes sense to confirm the actual shoot date before you commit.
