What they are looking for
A short film shooting in the Boedo neighborhood of Buenos Aires is looking for an Afro descendant actress or model ages 18 to 30 for a small part. It is paid: 100,000 Argentine pesos for a single shoot day. The listing is brief and leaves out the story, the character and the exact shoot date. To apply, email the address in the listing with your details and materials. The search stays open until December 6. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Since it is a small part and they ask for little material, write a short email with two recent photos, one front facing and one full body in natural light, plus your basic measurements. If you have a reel or on camera experience, include the link. Before you commit, ask what day they shoot, how long the day runs, how the fee is paid and whether you would be signing over image rights.
