What they are looking for
A horror short film shooting in Buenos Aires is looking for an actor and an actress ages 23 to 26. The main requirement is being available for the shoot on October 31 and November 1. It is paid, with a symbolic fee whose amount the listing does not give. The call is listed as a cooperative project. To get more information and apply, write to the email address in the listing. Castina's tip
The shoot falls right on Halloween and the day after, with very little lead time, so write today and confirm you are free for both full days. Horror relies on wordless reactions, so it helps to send a short video of a scene with restrained fear, looking into the camera. Ask up front how much the symbolic fee is, which neighborhood they are shooting in and whether they cover transportation if you wrap late at night.
