What they are looking for

Terraza Producciones, a student production team from the Image and Sound Design program at FADU, the University of Buenos Aires school of architecture and design, is looking for extras for a student short film shooting in Boedo, Buenos Aires. They want people over 18 who look about 16 to fill out background scenes. The listing is brief and leaves out the shoot date, how many extras they need and what material to send, so it is worth emailing the team to ask. It is unpaid. The same team is also casting a lead actor with this look for a party scene in a separate listing. Apply through the original listing.

Castina's tip

Send a short email with your name, age, neighborhood and two current photos, one facing the camera and one full body, in teen-style clothes. Ask which day they shoot and how long the day runs, because the listing only gives the October 31 closing date. If you want more than background work, check the same team's listing for the lead actor and apply to both.

How to apply to this casting call

  1. Check that you fit. The call asks for ages 18 and up, and it is based in Boedo, Argentina.
  2. Get your materials ready: current photos of your face and full body, plus your measurements (see how to take headshots at home).
  3. Apply through the original listing from Terraza Producciones (FADU, UBA): the button at the end of this page takes you there. You have until October 30, 2026.
  4. If they call you back, there may be a second round: the callback. It is unpaid: ask what they cover (travel, meals) and whether you get the footage for your reel.
