What they are looking for
An independent feature film based in Caballito, a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, is looking for an actor ages 30 to 70. The call is brief and leaves out the plot, the type of role and the shooting schedule. It is paid, with the amount to be agreed with the production. Send your resume, reel and photos to the contact email shown in the listing. The same production has other roles open, including an actress ages 18 to 29 for the same feature. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
A feature usually needs more shooting days than a short, so before applying think about how much real availability you have in the coming weeks. Keep your resume to one page with your film credits first, and send a reel that opens with your strongest scene in the first few seconds. Use actor 30 to 70 for the feature film as your subject line. If they call you back, ask for the dates, the agreed pay and the image rights terms in writing.
