What they are looking for
An independent production is looking for an actress ages 18 to 29 for a medium-length film shooting in Caballito, a neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The listing is very short and leaves out the plot, the character and the shooting dates. It is paid, with the amount to be agreed with the production. Send your reel, resume and photos by email to the address shown in the listing. The same inbox is taking submissions for other roles in this film and in a feature film. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Since the listing says almost nothing about the character, your materials need to show range: a front-facing photo in natural light, a full-body shot and a short reel with one dramatic scene and one lighter one. Put the exact role in your email subject line, actress 18 to 29 for the medium-length film, because the same inbox is handling several roles. Before you commit, ask about the shooting dates and how much the job pays.
