What they are looking for
Productora La Matrera, a production company in Buenos Aires, is casting the leads of a new vertical series, the format made for watching on a phone, built around a psychological thriller. They are open to adults 18 and older of every gender, background, skin tone, and look. The listing mentions special interest in people of Asian and European descent. The production is based in the City of Buenos Aires. It is unpaid. Send a photo and a video introduction by email, along with your contact details and where you are from. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Since this is a vertical series, shoot your intro with your phone upright, framed from the chest up and lit from the front. A psychological thriller rewards calm with something unsettling underneath, so say your name and one line while holding the lens. State your background clearly, because they ask for it. Before you commit, ask how many shoot days there are and where the series will be released.
