What they are looking for
Students in the Film and New Formats program at Escuela Da Vinci, a Buenos Aires film and design school, are making a medium-length film and are looking for actors ages 25 to 35, or who can pass for that range. The shoot is in Berazategui, in Greater Buenos Aires, and actors who live in or near the area get priority. Filming runs from late October into early November and may stretch to late November. It is unpaid, although travel expenses are covered. They ask for current photos and an acting reel by email. Since the shoot starts soon, it is best to write right away. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
If you live near Berazategui, say so in the first line of your email, since that is their priority. Send two current photos, one headshot and one full-body, plus a short reel that shows a natural on-camera style. Because the dates may stretch into late November, ask how many shoot days there are and which ones before you confirm, so the shoot does not clash with your other commitments.
