What they are looking for
A university thesis film is looking for two supporting actors ages 45 to 60. The characters are a bassist and a drummer, so ideally you play one of those instruments. The shoot is in the city of Buenos Aires on November 1, 8 and 9. It is paid, with what the listing calls a symbolic fee. They ask for a short introduction and your acting reel by email. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Since the first shoot day is November 1, it is best to apply by October 31. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
The instrument is what matters most here: if you play bass or drums, add a short video of yourself playing, even one shot on your phone, along with your reel. Mention in your introduction how long you have played and whether you are or were in a band. Before you accept, make sure you are free on all three November shoot days and ask whether they provide the instrument or you need to bring your own.
