What they are looking for
A university project is looking for an actress ages 20 to 35 for a short film about a runaway bride: the story centers on a woman who flees her own wedding. The production works between the northern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires and the city itself. It is unpaid. To apply, you can email the address in the listing or call the phone number it gives. The call stays open until November 10. The listing does not say who is casting, so make sure it is a legitimate call before you send your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
The character is making an escape, so a short video of a scene with a lot going on inside, doubt, decision and flight, with few lines, works well. Include a front facing photo in natural light and a full body shot. Before you commit, ask whether the production provides the wedding dress, where they are shooting, how many days it takes and whether they cover travel between the northern suburbs and the city.
