What they are looking for
The Wesley Players, a community theater in Highlands Ranch, south of Denver, is casting dancers, actors, and singers for The Prince of Egypt, Stephen Schwartz's musical based on the story of Moses. Auditions run December 9 to 13. The first rehearsal is December 16, regular rehearsals begin in early January 2027, and performances run February 25 to 28. It is unpaid; all roles are volunteer. Full audition details are on the theater's website, and you apply by emailing your details. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Listen to Schwartz's score, especially Deliver Us, and prepare a cut that shows power and vocal control. If you dance, brush up on ensemble movement, since the show leans heavily on its chorus. Check the theater's website to see what each audition day requires. It is a volunteer production, so make sure you can keep up with January and February rehearsals.
