What they are looking for
Casa Mañana is staging Dear Evan Hansen in Fort Worth, Texas, directed by Rob Ruggerio. They are casting the full company: Evan, Heidi, Zoe, Connor, Cynthia, Larry, Jared, and Alana, each with a vocal range listed in the breakdown. The call is for Equity actors. Auditions are November 8, 2026 at the theater by appointment; bring a short song in the style of the show with sheet music in the right key, plus a headshot and resume. If you cannot attend, email a headshot, resume, a 16 to 32 bar video, and a dance reel, and say whether you have local housing in Dallas and Fort Worth. Rehearsals start in February 2027. It is paid: a $959 weekly minimum. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Book a slot through the signup link and bring sheet music in your key, since the pianist will not transpose. Check your range against the breakdown: Evan tops out at C5 and Connor at G#4. Same-day callbacks may add cold readings and movement, so keep November 8 clear and bring shoes you can move in. For a video, slate at the top and send it before 5 p.m. Central on November 8.
