What they are looking for
Walt Disney World is seeking Equity actors for Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, the live stage show at Sunset Showcase featuring villains like Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent. Submissions are by video: prepare one of the monologues Disney provides, and Captain Hook hopefuls should also sing "Elegant Captain Hook." Extra singing and acting links are strongly encouraged. The deadline is Friday, November 20 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern. Possible in-person callbacks are January 10, 2027, in New York and January 19 in Kissimmee. It is paid: a $26 per hour minimum, with potential Equity pension, Equity 401(k) and Disney health coverage. Apply through the original listing.
Castina's tip
Download the material from DisneyAuditions.com and pick the villain you fit physically, since the breakdown lists heights for each role. A Disney villain calls for a big but precise character choice: record several takes and keep the one with clear intention that stays short of mugging. Add a singing link even though it is optional, because they strongly encourage it. If you get a callback, plan to keep January 10 or January 19 open.
